Digital Platforms, Ecosystems & Innovation
I study how platforms shape innovation diffusion, complementor participation, market feedback, and value creation across app stores, crowdfunding, retail, and other digital ecosystems.
RESEARCH AGENDA
My research examines digital technologies as market and organisational environments: places where people interact, information travels, and new ideas are created, evaluated, and commercialised.
I study how platforms shape innovation diffusion, complementor participation, market feedback, and value creation across app stores, crowdfunding, retail, and other digital ecosystems.
I examine how algorithmic and AI-enabled systems influence human judgement, participation, and interaction—and the conditions under which these systems shift discretion or responsibility.
I investigate how design, information, and interaction features influence behaviour in digital markets, online communities, and technology-mediated consumption.
I study how policy, institutional context, and privacy technologies condition adoption and the societal consequences of digital innovation.
METHODS
I work with large-scale digital trace data, econometric modelling, causal inference, experiments, machine learning, and natural language processing. These are methodological commitments that support—not define—the substantive questions above.
